A medieval ‘clas’ church and later the family church of the tragic C. S. Rolls, St Cadoc’s church in Llangattock Vibon Avel (Llangatwg Feibion Afel) is a beautifully secluded church surrounded by Monmouthshire’s evergreen fields. Inside, one will find a selection of exquisite Gothic Revival stained glass and a magnificent pipe organ. Later this year, a programme of repairs is due to commence — and we hope you would like to help preserve St Cadoc’s for decades to come…
At St Cadoc's, we need to repair the roofs, the external masonry, the drainage system, and more to secure its future. Working with a small (and committed) Friends' Group, we hope to repair St Cadoc's and reopen it for the local community and visitors alike.
The programme repairs will cost in the region of £465,000 and, like most of our work, will be funded entirely by the Friends' members and supporters. Everything we do depends on people who care – people like you.
Please contribute towards the cost of repairing St Cadoc’s, by Becoming a Friend or a donating to our cause.
Thank you!
