We are a small charity, caring for over 70 historic places of worship across England and Wales.
We receive no government funding in England and only a modest grant in Wales. Everything we do depends on the support of people who care – people like you.
Every donation received directly supports maintaining churches in our care. Your support means we can rescue, repair, and re-open more places of worship for decades to come. Regular donations are particularly welcome – these enable us to plan ahead and ensure resources are put to the best use.
If you’re a UK tax-payer, your donation may qualify for Gift Aid, enabling us to claim back the tax on your contribution at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your support.

As a small but busy charity with buildings in all corners of England and Wales, we need kind local people to be our eyes, ears and hands – helping to keep our churches safe, clean and well-presented, and open to visit, use and enjoy.
At some, we are fortunate to have local friends groups, bringing volunteers together to help care for the building and organise activities in and around it — from bake sales and harvest suppers, to talks, music and guided tours.
