Our newest church on Anglesey

Associated with an intriguing local legend, St Tyfrydog’s, Llandyfrydog is a charming Gothic church with surviving medieval features and characterful late Georgian furnishings.

Situated in a wooded circular churchyard, St Tyfrydog's church is the sixth church we have rescued on Anglesey - and the 8th historic place of worship we have acquired in 2025.

The church has had little in the way of maintenance or repair for some time, and regrettably, the roof is letting in water, the drains are defective, the floors are collapsing from rot and woodworm, ivy is choking the masonry and creeping its way under the eaves. We need to step in quickly and reverse the decline at this fine rural church.

With your help, we can stop the rot. We can save this Grade II* listed church. We look forward to sharing with you more about the progress of repairs due to start in late September 2026, after bats’ seasonal activity ends. Please help us save more churches by Becoming a Friend or donating.
