This December, several of our churches are hosting carol services. These events are organised by local Friends. We will post details on this page as soon as we receive them.

Christmas Carol Services

Saturday 2nd December, 2pm

St John the Baptist, Sutterby, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 8RB

Information from the organiser:

'Hark the herald angels sing' — join us as we raise our voices in seasonal celebration, before retiring to Langton Village Hall for a mull and a mince pie... or equivalent. Retiring collection for Friends of Friendless Churches. All welcome (no booking required).

Carol singing, mulled wine, mince pies, sausage rolls and festive tales in the atmospheric candlelit surroundings of this tiny historic church.

Sunday 10th December, 3pm

St Mary Magdalene's, Boveney, Buckinghamshire, SL4 6QQ

It is a popular service, so please arrive early for a seat. All welcome (no tickets required).

Parking is available in Rambler's Car Park near the Church, at the end of Boveney Road.

Information from the organiser:

Come and join our popular annual Christmas celebration (no booking required). Do wrap up warm, wear robust footwear, bring a torch and a hearty singing voice. There will be music beforehand (c5.15) and something warming afterwards.  

Access is particularly difficult when it is wet, so please park sensibly (if in doubt, on the main road) and walk. Please note there is limited heating and no loo.

Proceeds to FoFC and Prostate Cymru.
