As a small, almost wholly voluntary organization, we rely extensively on kind local people to act as our eyes and ears.
Some of our churches are fortunate to have volunteer groups of local friends who organise events in and around the church — from bake sales and harvest suppers, to talks, hands-on maintenance and educational trips and visits. In other places, we are in need of one or more keyholders to help us keep our churches safe, while providing access to local people and visitors.

This is a Government scheme where individuals can give to charity through their salary, as long as their employers participate in the scheme. It’s a great way to give a monthly donation, before tax is deducted.
Find out more about Give As You Earn and ask your employer if they participate.
If you want to fundraise for the FoFC by organising an event – for example through a crochet marathon, bike ride, or garden party – you can use JustGiving to create a personal event page.
Donations will go straight to the Friends of Friendless Churches, minus a small fee.
